Abuelita, abuelita
mi bendita santita

Flor de primavera
luz del amanecer

¿Quién como tu mí querida abuelita?

Memoria de mi niñez
sintonía en armonía

Mi Sustento y Refugio
Cariño y Ternura

Limpiadora y Cocinera
Madre y Consejera

Compradora y Ahorradora
de recuerdos sin igual

Guerrera Oradora
clamando y luchando
por sus crías

Pensadora Amadora
aun en su sufrir

Bienaventurada es su nombre
aquel nombre que ella tuvo

Gloria fue su nombre
y gloriosos fueron sus días

Recordarla es admirarla
en sus gozos compartir

Y aun el viento de los tiempos
su memoria no lograra sacudir
Paz y Prosperidad
son el fruto de sus manos

y de su vientre
nace poesía
Hermandad y Esperanza

porque vida has inyectado
corrientes sanguíneas del amor

transfusión de padre a hijo
de generación en generación

  3. Hello Liam. Thank you for your wonderful comments and great support!!! Yes, I built the site myself using the tools from WordPress. The colors and picture themes are a combination of WordPress and some of my own pictures. As far as the theme of River Words… Ocean Possibilities, this was an idea swimming (pun intended) around in my head for quite some time. I have been teaching myself how to create and design this website through trial and error and lots of hard work. Glad to hear of your interest in creating your own blog. It is a challenging and demanding task but one that can be very rewarding. I have received numerous inspiring and humbling comments from so many people far beyond what I ever expected to get. Do not be afraid to share your work. You never know who you might inspire. If you don’t mine me asking, what is your blog going to be about? Hope to hear from you soon. Take care.
